Nantasket Beach Family Portrait – Hull, MA

They say once you live by the ocean, it’s hard to leave it behind.  This family travelled all the way from Germany to spend time with family on Nantasket Beach this summer – which has become a family tradition.  Six years ago, I photographed them when they were in Hull on vacation –  their family has changed a lot since then! This time they rented a house by the beach with siblings, cousins, in-laws and the like, to enjoy the sun, the waves and each other.  I can attest to the fact that the South Shore is a very special place to grow up. This Dad grew up in Cohasset like I did and it was fun sharing stories and memories about special places like Sandy Cove, the Cohasset Yacht Club and Bassings Beach.  We talked about how much we love to see our own children enjoying the sand, the fresh air and the ocean like we did when we were kids.  Nantasket Beach, where this photo session took place, is my home now, and I’m so happy to be able to share it with my kids and photograph other families doing the same.  Great job on your photo session you guys!
