It was chilly outside, but cozy inside Eastern Standard where Curtis and Scott began their engagement session. That’s where it ALL began for this handsome couple – Eastern Standard was where they had their first date! Then we went to Yawkey Way for some seriously, snowy Fenway shots. There’s something so romantic about getting bundled up for a walk on a winter day. It might be cold doing photos outside in February around here, but worth it! Curtis and Scott look so fantastic together, set against this wintry Boston landscape. I’m so looking forward to photographing Curtis and Scott’s iconic Boston wedding in September!!!
It was nine degrees out in Larz Anderson Park, Brookline, MA while Meghan and Dan glowed their way through their wedding portraits. I think their love was keeping them warm! My camera on the other hand froze up completely (my hands almost did too)…of course I had more than one camera on me so as long as they were willing to bear the cold, I was more than willing to photograph them! These two were so much fun to photograph – the sweetest couple you could ever meet and utterly adorable too. Their dedicated bridal party braved the elements with a smile too and it was so worth it!! I love the look of these outdoor shots – the traces of snow, setting the scene for this festive winter wedding! Meghan and Dan’s New Year’s Eve wedding was a blast and it was clear their family and friends were thrilled to ring in the New Year with them! Congratulations Meghan and Dan and Happy New Year too!
Here’s a quick Christmas Eve post (as promised) with a few of my favorite images from Baby H’s portrait session last week. He’s about a month old, and cute as a button! Merry Christmas to Baby H and his whole family! Happy Holidays to all!
For their engagement session, Holly and Christian took a walk from Boston Common, down Commonwealth Ave and across the Harvard Bridge to the very bench where Christian proposed. It was a beautiful August day and we had great time strolling along, making pictures against Boston’s iconic backdrop. A super cute couple, with Holly totally rocking it in her adorable summer dress and sexy shoes! We had so much fun, but when we finally got to “their bench,” I got goosebumps! It was just so totally romantic to be revisiting the very bench where they got engaged! A bench, overlooking the Charles River, but otherwise pretty unremarkable. Except to them. And of course it will remain remarkable to them for many years to come. Congratulations you two!

This little baby girl couldn’t be cuter! She was too funny while I photographed her…she just wanted to be AWAKE and take it all in! Really, I couldn’t blame her…her whole house was under construction! And yes, that’s her proud daddy, a talented contractor, and his team of roofers woking on the addition. It was so noisy! But even in all the noise and chaos, she was as sweet and happy as an angel and so was her adoring mother. (Who did a great job, by the way, finding that adorable little crown and those fabulous tutus on Etsy!) We got some great shots of baby’s gorgeous eyes, and eventually, we caught her sleeping as well. And what’s cuter than a sleeping newborn?! Welcome baby girl and congratulations to you and your family! Can’t wait to see how the addition turns out!
beautiful photographs!
